Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Just a quick thought here. Is the country set, some ap's won't work right untill you select what country your located in. ie USA.
Another thought would be try switching to dhcp and see that works.
So when I get all my part's in and I put in the Corsair Ram and It doesn't run in dual channel mode, my question then would be.
Do I upgrade to faster ram? Like this, http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145450 or should I just go with getting another 2x512 of the Corsair...
If you read the whole thread, I said that it doesn't support (or at least says) the Corsair Value Select in dual channel mode with just two sticks. Not all RAM in general.
I've reread it multiple times :) It say's it won't support two sticks in dual channel mode but it will with 4. I've also googled it, and I'm not the only one to notice this, yet, I can't seem to find an answer if it does work. Perhaps, someone here has the same setup and can verify it. If not, I...
Hello,
I just recently bought Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe with Corsair Value Select x2 512 ram with the hope of running them in dual channel mode. After reading the asus manual it says that this is not suported using just two sticks, but it does support dual channel if using 4 sticks.
Is this...
I'm building a new computer. I got a Antec TruePower 550 before the new series came out. Would it be best if I get the new 550 TruePower II ? Price isn't a concern because the orginal I got for free.
One more thing whats the difference between the ESP and just the 550?
Damn, well your right that's not much upgrade ability so what your saying is that the abit board would be better for me. Right?
For the psu would this one be better? http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=22550
And whats the difference between the 550 and 550EPS?
Thanks.
I do want upgrade ability. So I think a sli board is a good go. I'm a nvidia guy, so thats that:)
My psu is Antec 550 True Power, is this ok?
I'm being to think more about the latest Asus board, I've had friends who used asus boards and never had problems. So what do you guys think about...
Thanks for your help everyone. I have a few more questions.
Motherboard: I've always liked Abit boards and at work we use them as well, and we've never had too much problems with them. I'm a little reluctant to switch to another manufacturer is all. Can you vouch that the quality of the Asus...
As you you can see from the subject, I'm planning on building a new system, for obvious reasons. I have a few questions, so hopefully you knowledgeable people can help me out.
I want to build my new system with a AMD 64 while staying under $1000. I will need a processor, motherboard, ram...
I would recommend using postfix. Simple, Fast, and Reliable. But as said above, if your using it for something small, there's no danger in using sendmail.
