10e , any mac profiles to share with us :)

Thats what i have been feeling about mine since i got it the other day. I was using 10e profile but everything was too red. I had to adjust the RGB red channel down quite a bit until i was happier. Waiting for 10es mac profiles..... i'm on a mac to that would be interesting to try.

Just got mine today! I need a bit of help though with my noobness :) Dont have money for a calibrator just yet so i thought i would try out some of the profiles posted here. I am using a Mac though, does it matter if profiles like the one posted by 10e were created on a PC? I got it installed...

GIven that so many people have chimed in with calibrated RGB and brigtness/contrast settings, is there anything to be said for buying your own calibration device? Or is is just going to give the same results? Do individual panels vary enough that you should still buy your own calibrator...

So I have heard that there are problems with the spectraview software and the new macbook pros that have mini displayport. The issue is mentioned on the NEC website. I have one of the new 15" macbook pros and osx 10.5.6. I would love to get a NEC 2490wuxi but it seems i would not be able to...
