    They will let you do this up to 6 months before your contract expires. As long as you are a loyal customer, or appreciated customer, or a customer in good standing. I don't remember what they call it but it's something similar.

    You can use a vga cord to an external monitor to get around the hdcp. Not a convenient solution though...

    if you have an extra windows OS laying around vm, parallels, or bootcamp would be a simply way to watch BR on your MPB.
