    Chilledpc.co.uk?

Have any of you guy's ordered from this site and how did it go. It's just that I ordered from them 2 weeks ago and still haven't received anything. It usually only takes a few day's for things to arrive from the UK to me. I sent them a mail and got a reply 3 day's later saying they didn't know...

Aftermarket SB heatsink for Rampage Formula

Hi Guy's, I want to include my NB in my watercooling loop. I have the Asus Rampage Formula X48 and my Q6600 overclocked to 3.4GHz. As you can imagine my NB is starting to get hot preventing me from moving further with my overclock. I want to include it in my loop and I have a spare MCW30...

Same temps with lower fan speed!

It was just an initial test. Ive run two 1hr tests since with both tests with the high and low fan speed producing the same temps THROUGHOUT the tests. My next step is to find the stable temps at stable ambient so I will run a 6hr test at full fanspeed until I get stable temps and if I do in...

Same temps with lower fan speed!

Yes, as soon as my Asus Rampage Formula X48 arrives which sholud be the next day or two. I'm running a Q6600 which I could not get a good overclock on my P5N-E SLI so I cant wait for my new board to arrive and it's supposed to be a very cool (temps) board.

Same temps with lower fan speed!

Yes I think your correct. The more heat in the loop the quicker the rad heats up, and the quicker the rad heats up the quicker you need the cold air running through it thus speeding up the fans. At the mo I have the CPU and NB watercooled and I think I will leave it at that. I will run two 1hr...

Same temps with lower fan speed!

Hi guy's, Ive just run two 15min tests with OCCT. The first with my radiator fans turned up to their highest speed and the second with them turned down to their lowest. Ambient temp was 23c for both tests. Both tests had the same CPU and MB temps throughout the tests and the second giving me a...

Watercooling - not impressed so far!

Thanks, I will loose the res for a T loop instead and the couplings will be taken off the loop aswell and i'll see how it goes from there.

Thanks, I actually thought that might be what you were using and ordered one lastnight. ;)

-2c temp drops with water compared to PC ICE. The margin is small considering PC ICE can save you from frying your system components.

Watercooling - not impressed so far!

Fantastic example thanks. I dont care how it looks realy once the performance is there. Thats a nice setup you have there. I'm curious as to what you have on the top of that fill tube as I may do the same with my rig.

Watercooling - not impressed so far!

The pump is also in the barebone and the water only travels about 1ft to the rad. The highest it has to travel in the loop is from the block back to the res which is about 3ft.

Watercooling - not impressed so far!

I have between 8 and 9ft of hose. I really need something to separate the PC and Barebone when I need to work inside one of them but I think the couplings have to go. I'm looking at 3/8" straight hose nylon connectors here...

correct way to face radiator fans

Ive got 10mm space between the rad and PC case top as the rad is mounted on top with L brackets. If I pull air through the rad I'm pulling it up through 10mm space. At the minute I have the fans blowing down through the rad. Theres atleast 1ft space between the rad and shelve above it so Im...
