My fingers laid down the law to me several years ago; no more small cases of any type.
Building a PC in a full or mid tower is just so much easier and gives better cooling.
I haven't seen one of those cases in a long time. The only issue you might have is that cable management will be a bit more difficult than in a modern "hide everything" case.
MS focused on touch screen for win 8 and yes that didn't work out. Windows 10 seems to be shoehorning keyboard and mouse functionality back into a touch focused OS instead of making a fresh start for desktop UI.

Computers, particularly home computers connected to the Internet, are not and never have been secure places for information.
Encrypt...encrypt.... the End is nigh!
I really can't see any reason for M$ to give away Windows 10.
It cost money to develop and support an OS and Microsoft is not

That's one advantage of waiting to upgrade until you absolutely have to, the cost always feels worth the performance gain. Following the "bleeding edge" of technology usually means relying on benchmarks to see any difference. Not nearly as satisfying.
As for your original problem I would suspect...
Whether or not the 980 and 970 are good upgrades depends on what you're upgrading from .I agree that if you have a 780 Ti it's probably not worth the money to upgrade. Otherwise it looks like a good jump in performance from most other cards, if you want or need that extra graphics power. It...
