SSD taking longer than usual to shutdown

I am sorry I wasn't so detailed. My ssd(m4 128gb) is my OS drive. Usually, when I shut down the PC, it turns off in like 2 seconds, which is almost instant. Now that I installed Kaspersky, when I press the shutdown button in the start menu, the pc takes about 6 to 8 seconds to shutdown. The ssd...

SSD taking longer than usual to shutdown

I have a Crucial M4 128 GB SSD and ever since I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2013, my ssd takes longer than usual to shut down. Before I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2013, my ssd used to shut down in about 2 to 2.5 seconds. Now, after I installed Kaspersky, it takes an average...

EVGA claims minor rust as physical damage. What do you think ?

Looking for the BEST PSU to replace AX1200

Other than the AX1200, I would reccomend the HCP 1200, the Seasonic Platinum 1000, or another AX1200. Seriously Corsair is an awesome company and their RMA service is one of the best. I don't see why you would want to change one of the best 1200 watt power supplies out there.

    6990 or 590 to replace a 5870.

An Nvidia gtx 580 or an Amd radeon 6970 would do you very good. But if you do decide to go with a dual gpu card, either one of them would be good. The Gtx 590 has phyx and cuda while on the other hand radeon 6990 has 4 gb gddr5 memory.
