    I have the 2007fwp and it does have banding with DVI. Otherwise I love it and it is only occasionally noticeable depending on your use. I plan to exchange it once a revision is made.

    I have these banding issues and it deals with the DVI connection in some way. I noticed this also on the Dell Forum. I think I will wait until there is a revision, since this one is A0, before I return it.

    would there be a big difference between 19inch lcd and 20.1 widescreen?

    Also pixel pitch or dot pitch. Which can make things not as sharp since it is larger on the 19", at least in my experience.

    Also when I uped the brightness and switched it back to the PC mode, all the red tint was gone. So I'm not really sure which is best to use, but the PC mode is darker on my MAC and it's slightly annoying to have to switch that each time I go between the machines.

    I've turned the brightness down but doesn't seem to matter. I just don't get it. I will give it another day or two to adjust and then try to return them. Not sure I can say these hurt my eyes I want to return them..so I will use the X backlight bleeding issue (which is minor to me but I can see it)
