I can say with absolute certainty that all 3 FP241W's I sent in for the update were worth it! I work with video and viewing it in its native dimensions is essential. Having said that... I bought 3 of these and decided to go with a Westinghouse 37" for the one that'll do most of the TV...

BenQ has changed their RMA process to something that gives us a little more control over cost. They're no longer charging us directly but allowing us to include return shipping labels in the box. Still have to pay shipping both ways, but now we have the power to choose the method, which should...

I'm using the BenQ DVI cable with my FP241W and have two 8800GTX's in SLI and don't have any problems whatsoever. Sounds like I was lucky and didn't get a cable with any problems. A question on this, for DVI-D is it that the single link has the two sections of pins and the dual-link has all pins...

I turned in paperwork to request an RMA from BenQ on Dec 28th and the rep that's assisting me said things are a little slow with the holidays, so I'm still waiting on an RMA number to send it in. I just sent him another note asking about status so we'll see what happens.

"Possible" would be more accurate than "easy", but not feasible in some situations. For example, I'm using that third PCIe slot for a video editing card (the other single PCIe's are covered by the thick 8800GTX's, even though they aren't used - what a waste), so a third card for me so that I can...

I couldn't agree more. I knew of this "issue" (or more accurately, intended feature) going into purchasing my new 680i-based system with two 8800GTX's, and I have to tell you these things smoke on maximum settings, even on my new BenQ FP241W 24" monitor (I'm surprised all the lights in my house...

Just called BenQ to have my current FP241W updated with the 1:1 aspect ratio firmware. They're e-mailing me a form to fill out, which I'll return with credit card information to cover the return shipping, and then I'll send the monitor off with the RMA number. So they are now doing this (out of...

Well said. You beat me to the punch. I would put the Eizo in an entirely different class as the BenQ FP241W, Samsung 244T, any of the Dell 24 inchers, Gateway, etc. When all aspects are considered, the BenQ is superior and is the best all-around choice over the competition (again the Eizo...

In my case I made an intentional decision to go ahead and purchase the FP241W after extensive research that indicated it as the best choice (I'll explain this further below). The main problem that I had with what they told me upon returning my voice mail (after a 3-week wait) was that they left...

To be more specific, when I posed the question of will it be possible to upgrade existing FP241W's a customer might already own to the new firmware that includes the 1:1 pixel mapping/aspect ratio options via a RMA process, she left for a moment to consult with someone and returned with a...

Got a call from the BenQ US department in response to a voice mail I left them about three weeks ago (a week after I already bought a FP241W, which is a pretty incredible piece of hardware, by the way despite the lack of 1:1 pixel and aspect ratio options via external non-PC sources) and they...

Ordered a BenQ FP241W from NewEgg. Recieved it in 4 days. Opened the box and plugged it in. Monitor promptly began to sizzel and smoke from the top grate/slits with a pungent odor. Re-packaged monitor and RMA'd it back to NewEgg, who willingly refunded without a restocking fee. I'll still...

I mean release date. Somehow I managed not to type those two words.

Anyone know of a US Sceptre x24wg-Naga 24" LCD yet?

Translation doesn't seem to work. What's the gist of it compared to existing FP241W reviews?
