Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
A little less if you are on the fence.

I think there is even more to be said here. The Archon presents a much larger frontal area and requires at least a 140mm fan to cool evenly. Using a 120mm fan would definitely leave some dead or low flow spots. It would be like using 92mm fans on a HSFs that require 120mm fans for an...
Well crap, Western Digital actually came through. ;) I'm not sure if it was the phone calls or just business as usual. The day after my status went to DELAYED, I got email that replacement drives had been shipped. These arrived the next day and were brand spankin' new. The manufacture date is 17...
I bought two Velociraptor 300 GB drives a year and half ago. 5 year warranty. The drives have failed and are now just sitting around. I did start an RMA for the drives. I even did the advanced RMA where Western Digital will send you replacement drives while holding your credit card hostage...
I tried to calibrate my PX2611w and just couldn't get the same numbers that other obtained nor could I get the values on the Planar website. I made a call and did some additional checking on previous reviews. I just finished talking to a Planar supervisor and she confirmed what I was finding...
I'm actually in California. House was built in the late 50s. This was my first encounter with knob and tube. But that is not the worst of this house. 200+ feet of orangeburg pipe was the biggest nightmare.
Sort of. The house is on a hillside. Main floor is upstairs. There is a second floor downstairs. At the front of the garage, the ground was about 5 foot down from a retaining wall. At the back of the garage, it was about 10 foot down to the dirt. I dug out some of the dirt to get a 9 foot by 20...
Thanks!
I like the new Lian Li case. A lot. It's just roomy enough to get the job done. I did improve the air flow by replacing the rear fan and adding another fan in the center bay. The GTX 280 puts out a fair amount of heat.
Here is my playroom in progress. Just never stops. I am uploading pictures of the building the room a little as a time. Newest addition, (not yet pictured) is a Synology DS-408 with 4.5TB of HDD space. Volume is still creating.
