    i did not think about the 290x thats a good point. what is a good 290x? i have seen a lot of mixed reviews on them. now im thinking either single 780 or 290x or sli 770. would the extra ram of the 780 or 290 make much difference at 1080p? my current 770 is the 2gb version and i see 1.7-1.9 vram...

    i know this is a fairly common dilemma but which would be better in my situation which is single monitor gaming at 1080p 144hz. the most demanding game i play is bf4. i have a capable power supply so that will not be a issue. i want to play on ultra but AA post off and ambient occlusion off.
