It doesn't really capture the essence of Doom for me. The graphics aren't exactly groundbreaking either are they.

It looks good but until they demonstrate robust lighting/shadows in a dynamic environment it isnt usable as a game engine. And to refer to LOD as 'level of distance' doesn't help his credibility.
