Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
If they ask, just tell them you were told that the exchange sent to you would be a refurb, see if they raise an objection. :) I can guarantee they won't say a word. Because they actually HAVE been doing it and openly telling customers that it would be a refurb if they want to exchange. Only on...
Oh boy do they lie! They are trained to lie, because Dell operates on the theory that most buyers are novice idiots who wont notice any problem with their products. That is why they send out returned units as "refurbs", hoping it would stick this time. They even delete negative posts from their...
I would say its pretty obvious. No styrofoam means not the original packing. I've never seen laptops and LCDs packed without a styrofoam casing around it.
And I'm pretty sure they don't even refurbish, they just send the ones coming back, right out, hoping some novice buyer won't notice any...
Man! Dell truly sucks so hard! I knew it ever since I bought my laptop 3 years ago. We should all just save up and buy NEC or better. Teach Dell a lesson in quality control and honest, fraud-free business practice. Time for anti-Dell movement of some kind. Companies like this gets my blood boiling.
Hey thanks a bunch. See, this is the first time I see that sRGB = 72% of Adobe RGB colour space. Now a lot of things are making sense! Do you think this monitor has an accurate sRGB space in sRGB Mode? Because I noticed Spyder3 doesn't really change saturation or intensity of any colours, just...
I'm confused by all the gamut talk about this monitor. Can't seem to get a clear idea of all that 72%, 110%, 100%sRGB, 96% AdobeRGB etc. Can anyone explain it to me please?
Dell website says "Compatible with Industry Color Standards: 100% sRGB, 96% AdobeRGB meets the needs of professional...
So I got this monitor almost one week ago. I bought Spyder 3 Pro yesterday and calibrated to 6500K. Now my previously faint pink tint became more prominent since 6500K is much warmer than the displays default highly blueish look.
Now I can't help but notice the pink tint at the left side even...
Probably not true for this monitor. Someone here bought 6 of these and they all had tinting problem. The thing is, as with mine, the tinting can be soft enough that lots of people don't even notice it. If they look for it they will see it.
If the tinting isn't bad and you get it for around...
Hey you must be me. I'm in Toronto and was ordered and delivered on the exact same dates! Not to mention the same price.
BUT, mine was manuctured in Sept 2009 and its Revision A02. This is strange since yours was built Feb 2010 but mine is A02 and yours is A01. Both made in Mexico.
