Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Anyone got any suggestions? Ideally something i can overclock. Currently using 8GB Corsair Dominator, have been running it for over a year stable at 4.9GHz.
Motherboard is: Asus Sabertooth P67 Rev3.
Thanks.
How does the height adjustment work on this monitor? i didnt find anything in the manual that explains how to get it to work. I did get it to work once, but now it doesn't go anywhere.
Would be great if i could get it to work since i change the position of how i sit pretty often :) I hated...
If there are new cards coming out in october (which ofc will be dx11 - no matter if its interesting right now or not) i'll probably hold out with the 4870x2 a little longer.
Its like sitting next to a vaccum cleaner, its bearable for 10-15 minutes then it _really_ gets on my nerves :D I dont want to use headphones either because i have tinitus since 1½ years back, it'd suck if it got even worse. There! Even more whining - just for you! ;)
I dont know what to do...
I'm thinking of getting a nvidia card instead of my 4870x2 for these reasons:
* There are some games that i like that doesnt support AA on ATI while it supports it on nvidia (Gothic3, Dead Space, the new Batman game + another title which i have forgotten now..).. It's not THAT big of a deal...
Does anyone know if the joystick is digital or analog on this device?
The swedish review i just read says it's digital, most other reviews i've found says it's analog.
I really hope it's an analog stick, that'd be great for games that require precision when moving around.
I ordered one...
Anyone tried formating with the MFT technology (http://www.easyco.com/mft/index.htm)... seems to boost the performance of SSD drives quite a bit (read a little about people who tried it on the OCZ forum, they were pretty happy).. Here's 4x ocz core in raid0 with MFT
Kald: Yes, i read about that the other day, didn't work very well imo. It seems that splitting them like that will just make it worse because it has to start looking for files on a new hdd all of a sudden, i experienced more stuttering.. I ended up unpacking the meshes and texture BSA's instead...
The game is 16GB with mods, i could alter it so it reads meshes and textures from another drive though (this is what's causing the HDD trashing), then i would need about 8gb, so 4GB isn't enough.
lol, insane numbers! :D not too impressed by the cpu usage though ;)
I have the Asus P5Q Pro, C2D e8400 @ 4.2GHz. 4GB ram. No idea if it'd take 16GB ram, probably not. I'm using Vista x86 right now, but obviously i would upgrade to 64bit if i got as much as 16GB RAM.. I was thinking about the...
Well i'm not expecting cheap, didn't say that, i'm just curious if there are any alternatives to the x25M, less space usually means at least a bit lower price.. and what about ramdrives, are there any that support ~16GB?
I'm playing/modding Oblivion a lot which is a really HDD demanding game, would be great to avoid the occasionall stutter with a much faster drive.
What would be the best SSD disk or Ramdrive for this? I need 16GB minimum (i'm just gonna have 1-2 games installed on this, since most games arent...
I have DX 9.0c (december 2006 release) but still some files are from 2001 which i think is a bit odd..
Why arent my files more up to date even though i have the latest version?
Example, this person has the exact same version of DX9 as i have but his d3dpmesh.dll is from 2004 instead of...
