Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I played case 0 and was kinda enjoying it. Can't wait to pickup 2 here any day... who knows might get it from the woman for my b-day next week!! Would be shweet!!!
Just wanted to let you guys know that Super K/K-mart is having an awesome deal. You buy God of War III this week you can then pick up Uncharted 2 for %50 off!!
Well Im using the 5770 with a 24 in monitor and running it at 1920 by 1080 and haven't had an issue yet. Was running CS:S and Half life 2 maxed out without a stutter! I think it is a great budget card!
Well thats the exact same card I just put in my new build. Haven't gamed much but has been working awesome for me! I'll tell ya some more when I truly test it out!
Well I thought I had more money then I did so I ended up going with the i5. Later down the road if needed I'll upgrade. Now I got a question on the heat, stock sink and a couple fans what should the system be running at when in use?
Yeah I read about that as well. But from what I saw is the game has to be coded to use HT and then you'll get a boost but not many games right now use it. I guess one that is used to test HT in gaming is lost planet which shows a decent increase with HT enabled.
Thanks guys.
As in for Microcenter I am actually going there tomorrow to get the CPU. I will be using a 1156 socket. As for OCing, I might try it down the road but right now just stock.
Im leaning toward the i5 but for like $60 more I can get the i7 860... so its between those 2.
Video...
Well I am purchasing my CPU tomorrow and I will be using this computer for multimedia. Such as video editing, etc. How much more beneficial is getting the i7 over the i5? Would the i5 be ok for a while?
Thanks for the help!
