Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Take it easy fellas, time is important to some folks and MS isn't exactly known for making things easier and more streamlined as time marches on. I do appreciate the free offer from them, but based on what I'm reading it seems it comes with the usual baggage that I'd rather avoid. If I have to...
So much for the free upgrade to Windows 10. I don't have time to upgrade before performing a clean install, that's a cluster if I ever did see one. I'll probably just purchase Windows 10 Pro to replace Windows 7 Pro and hope to avoid the brain damage MS has created with what they're pushing out now.
Thanks for the update cozumel. I did see them on Amazon UK, but was hoping to avoid going that route. I'm not even sure it's in the same league as the MSI XPower though with the reports of BIOS issues I've been reading lately. One would think the second largest mobo manufacturer would get those...
My bad, I thought this was a site wide thing and misunderstood the title. Even though I read and reread the rules I obviously blew it. Sorry for the confusion, but I did have the best of intentions.
I'd like to nominate Tsumi for always providing correct answers and useful information whenever the opportunity arises. The hardware scene is always evolving and the knowledge Tsumi puts out for consumption by others with less experience can be relied on time and time again.

Call their Gateway services department and tell them you have your own router and they'll turn it off for you. You'll need your own router, but you already knew that [H]!
This is the last mobo I'm considering before moving on to selecting a case/chassis for a new build. I'm about 80% confident I want the MSI X99S XPower, but just wanted to check out the UD7 before finally making up my mind. Here's my question. Are there any of these UD7s for sale either online or...
I've been wondering about a 4970X as well. At some point a leaked roadmap will hopefully turn up and provide the user base with a better idea. Too bad these top end Intel parts cost so much.
Since memory is sold in kits such as dual channel and quad channel, you'd be up a creek without a paddle if you wanted to run a quad channel setup and your mobo only had 4 memory slots. With 4 memory slots you'd be limited to a dual channel set up as far as memory is concerned. One of the...
