Am liking the R3F a lot.. booted right up with 930 and 6G Dominator 1600s. Ton of BIOS options, status LEDs on the motherboard (cpu, ram, etc voltages). Even the Start and Reset buttons light up. Eye candy aside its my 4th and nicest ASUS mb. Almost went with a Gigabyte U3DR but too many...
....."Anyone else now having a hard time deciding to purchase this due too the clear black depth and contrast issues show in the TFTcentral review?"
I wasn't thrilled but if that's its worst aspect I think I'll enjoy this monitor..
At 1920x1200 with no HDMI this monitor isn't targeted...
Received my ZR24W today, hooked up a laptop using the same resolution (1920x1200). I will use it for general business use, CAD and Visio.
Behind my desk is a wall of windows so 400 nits is very welcome.. 0 brightness was a bit low but anywhere from 50-100% seems good so far. Admittedly this...
I've only had the 3007wfp for a weekend now, but it scales pretty well.. I have it set to 'monitor scaling' vs. 'adapter scaling', figuring it would free up some GPU bandwidth.
When running at 1280x800 it is a pure 1:4 pixel scaling, so it is a true multiple (or division) of the the panel's...
I don't mean to knock the Westinghouse.. just don't get something with only 768 lines.
I installed my 7600GT last night and now the 3007 really shines. OMFG. I've only played a few games but am surprised that they haven't slowed down at hi-res. (NFS:PU, TrackMania, SS2)
Same here.. blown away by the 3007 (even at wrong res it is so crisp) I have the brightness down to zero. No dead pixels.
This weekend the FF steering wheel is coming out of the closet :)
You'll most likely regret it.. and wind up just using it as a TV.
768 is just not enough lines for a PC display these days.
Coincidentally, I just received my 3007WFP today.. and because my old card doesn't support the high-res, I am running it at 1280x800 (Close to your 37" HP). (My new card...
Thanks Guys.
I had all but given up on getting a 7600GT until finally locating a Leadtek for $199 last night.
The reason I was having trouble is that most of them only support up to 2048x1536.. and my 3007 arrives tomorrow  which supports 2560x1600.
Voodoo
Am expecting a 3007WFP in a couple of days and want to extend my AGP system a few more months before building a C2D DX10 graphics crusher.
There are literally NO 7600GT cards supporting 2560x1600 in stock anywhere, so I'm going to run my Radeon 9700 at the 3007's lower resolution.
But...
