Yeah I don't know anyone who would be willing to plop down more than $400 for a console right now...in my state when we are in a quarantine. It's going to hurt a lot of purses for the next couple of months.

Since this is used for production are you going overclock at all or no? If you are running more than 2 ram modules I'd definitely recommend the 2700 or 2700x for the better IMC, but if its just 2 ram modules then 1700 should be more than enough as the price increase ain't worth it.

I would take that 570 8gb and clock it to the moon, but tbh I don't trust mail in rebate. So I would recommend getting a used 390x or a used fury. If ya go the used route remember to get new thermal pads or some paste. Edit: or get a used 1060

GPU is still working.

So in my quest for better temperatures I tried to apply conductonaut to the gpu well after applying liquid electrical tape. The PC managed to boot into windows somehow without any display output as I heard the windows chime. I removed the cooler and it looked like I should have applied more, but...

That mindset is why I bought a ch6 instead of an el cheapo b350 mobo that went up in price.
