The Best LowProfile MiniITX Case for gaming

looks like a noise machine to me.

Why are so many "SFF" matx and itx cases so big?

Utility value. While I do agree that 500+W PSU doesn't make any sense even for guys running one graphics card, going mATX barely says anything about building a minimalist system. I think I am fine with the current mATX boxes though they could always manage their spaces better. Try ITX.

Asus Rampage III SupremeFX Xfi-2 Question for people with AV recievers

^^^ This is the most important thing to know. If it won't be capable of doing unaltered pass through, then it is completely useless and a new sound card capable of pass through will be required.

Just ordered a 2500k for my new build. Am I going to regret not going for the 2600k?

2600K if you want bragging rights or run VM. Gaming? Not so much.

Q6600 user, I am still around. Upgrade time?

Well the, you just found the answer! Keep your current system and wait for Ivy Bridge! Unless you really have extra discretionary income or is really into building computers, it just does not make sense to jump on the latest stuff. Every single system upgrade I have done over the past...

Q6600 user, I am still around. Upgrade time?

Well, hardware that are going to be release in the feature will be always cheaper and better if you are willing to play the waiting game. So the questions are 1) are you going to utilize an imminent upgrade, 2) when is the next big hardware upgrade cycle, and 3) whats the salvage value of...

    FT03 vs. PC-A05N vs. TJ08-E?

PC-A05N has really funky heat trap up top if you are to use an video card. Its almost required to switch the case top for something with ventilation.

Could someone find my system weakness please?

Everything else as everything else than visual qualities. From load times to boot times. Transitioning from HDD to SSD is as much of an improvement compare to the transition from DSL to fiber.

Build suggestions for a i5-2500k cpu

All HDD will fail in time. Some fail within 6 months, some fail after 5+ years. If you want reliability, go for enterprise drives and RAID 1 or RAID 10. And redundancy does not replace backup. So backing up your data is the utmost importance for system protection. SSD lives longer than HDD...

Could someone find my system weakness please?

graphics quality, no. everything else, yes. improvements in graphics quality mostly come from a video card. but its interesting tho. my SLC SSD from 2007 gave me a huge boost over my U320 SCSI RAID 0 array spinning at 15k RPM. And the current breed of MLC SSD are much much faster than...

Max safe voltage for 2600k on air?

Intel marketing, not sure. Intel technical, duh no shit. But hey, most trained electrical engineers know the same. Semiconductor properties 101.
