What about the bad viewing angle that everyone seems to be complaining about??
I'm looking into getting a 22" LCD to use as a monitor and hook an XBOX 360 to, so a good viewing angle is very important.
You could probably get it to 3GHz on stock cooling, but overclocking that much isn't 100% guaranteed, you could always get stuck with a chip with below average overclocking capabilities.

JamesGold, if you're going to overclock your processor that much, you will need a good and stable PSU. I'd say you got with the Corsair VX450 at least.
The worst that can happen is you'll screw up the MBR sector of your hdd, or maybe need to reinstall Windows/Ubuntu.
With 7.10, you can just install XP first, and then it'll automatically partition some space for Ubuntu and configure GRUB for dual-booting, all very simple.
I'm assuming you want to build things from source (not the easiest way to install programs, but sometimes it's the only way).
