    Thanks noobthegreat. I'm going for smoothness, but didn't know if sacrificing gsync, and going SLI for higher frame rates would be the better choice. All of the info in this thread is extremely helpful. Thank you so much.

    Thank you so much for the information! What about defaultluser's comment above about adaptive sync being about the same as Gsync? Will Gsync give higher frame rates, or does it just smooth out the skipping and jittering? Would adaptive sync work fairly similar on the Dell?
