Hello,
Well I suppose it depends on your motherboard too. I was looking for state preserving RAID controller(S4, S3), but since my motherboard does not support S4, I ended up looking for S3 capable RAID card.
Tried various LSI options - no way.
I almost came to conclusion that there are no S3...
So no way to redo anti-glare coating ?
Maybe some company does that - I could pay for that ?
I don't like glossy screens just want to use not so aggresive AG coating like on TNs.

Hello,
At first I had HP LP2475w and returned it because couldn't focus the view on this screen and had terrible eye strain.
Now I have Eizo s2431w and have very similar problems(can't focus -eye strain).
I never had/have these problems on TN panels.
At first I thought that this is...
And I think that overal brightness is not so important as minimal brightness. Since TN colors are more dim anyway maybe human eye can stand more brightness on TN's.
Of course everything depends on eye sensitivity.

Well I expierienced the same issues and returned it. At first I thought that I can't stand H-IPS matrix, so I bought S-PVA 24inch monitor. The new one also gave my eyestrain but not so strong as LP2475w. I'm using few TN's at my job with no problems, so I began to think where is the difference...
Hi,
Possible to enter eizo service menu ?
I don't expect models to match but I hope that the method is the same across all models. I have s2431w.
thanks

Hi,
I have eye strain on my Eizo s2431w, especially at night. I was scratching my head and finally realized that 0 brightness is way to bright for me (at least whites).
Tried to reduce 'brightness' using video card - it helped a bit but not enough - and this method alters colors so don't...
Hello,
I'm looking for low profile 2D video card. One of the alternatives is ATI FireMV 2260. Power consumption is very important in this case, but I can't find such an info in their site, their just state that this card has 'low power consumtion'.
What is FireMV 2260 power consumption...
Hello,
So this method solves color oversaturation issue in windows for not color managed applications ?
For example windows XP internet explorer's colors won't look oversaturated anymore ?
thanks
