I just spoke to a sales person at NEC in Sweden and he said the PA displays are at least 6 months away. He said September... Maybe they will come earlier to the US, I don't know.

I am pretty sure now that I would prefer a 16:10, so maybe these new ones are out of the question anyway. I also have a feeling they will be quite a lot more expensive. I would still be very pleased if I could get some comments on the differences between NEC 2690WUXi2 or Eizo Flexscan SX2761WK...

It looks as if the 27 inch version will only be in 16:9 format? At least according to the models on this link: http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1260108113 I havn't thought about if a 16:9 or 16:10 would be preferable for image editing? Probably 16:10 tbh...

Well, I'm kind of in a hurry to get a new one. When is that released and how much would that cost? My budget is around 1000 EUR...

I am a photographer and need to upgrade my monitor. I am choosing between the NEC 2690WUXi2 (S-IPS) and the Eizo Flexscan SX2761WK (PVA). Which one should I go for if I work with image editing and why? Please help me make this choice... :D
