    Might be time to use Seatools or HDscan which can write zeros to the disk will afford spare sector access if needed I do this to hard disks often as they tend to need refreshing frequently to be at their best

    Before my R5 2400G I have used a lot of motherboards, not as many processors though. I have three AM4 motherboards at present.

    has to be frustrating to trash a new motherboard and processor due to a screw up. then again that is life. nice to see you have a setup working now. I like MX-4 myself and I use that with my R5 2400G processor parked on an X470 board
