Let's return the point to the question about difference between EV2333W and FS2331. According to reviews monitor picture quality is the same with slightly faster FS2331. The price difference looking for example at Amazon DE is 460 - 330 = 160 euro. I could have a FS2331 and buy an additional... -

Hello everyone! I want to use the monitor for: 50% text work (Winword, Eclipse, Browsing) 30% HD Movies watch 10% Photo viewing/editing 10% Light games ( Star Craft 2 ) Please do not recommend IPS based monitors (because of the hard AG coating). -

tk-don, I want a 23"/24" monitor and I need a matt display. In this case Dell ST2220T is not an option. You said to stay away from VA technologies. Then it seems that theTN is the only option. What will you suggest from my short list then ? -

This is what AG coating does to LCDs (magnified)
My personal point of view is that both DELL U2410 and HP ZR24w have a very harsh AG coating. May be LG IPS231P is in the same group. -

The horrible AG coating of the IPS could be a very serious problem.
