    Best widescreen monitor with lowest input lag

    What are some current monitors that are widescreen with lowest input lag? It seems most i see are pretty bad at 34" and above for the widescreen displays. Atleast 120-144hz as well.

    Only reason i was considering it is because i play most games at 1080p on my regular monitor now and 1440p wouldn't be bad but i dont want to lag on the monoprice one at 4k resolution for higher demanding games.

    2 years since the 1070 and 1080 were released...

    I have a gigabyte 1080 from 2 years ago, never bought the 1080ti. Would it be a worthy upgrade to go from this to the new cards coming out soon? I bought it before the mining craze so i probably could resell it for the same price back if i can get my hands on the new ones for msrp.
