Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
It is more likely to be a problem with your PSU or MB than a grounding problem...
I have never experienced immediate shut downs due to grounding problems with the case, especially with missing standoffs.
I've just found out that his case was first listed for $169

Here are some pics of the modification I've done since my last post.
I've replaced the stock paste of the H70 with some Arctic Silver 5 and moved the radiator on top of the case as an outtake. Result; 10c drop
I've also replace the stock H70 fan with a Xigmatek 120mm silent fan...
I removed both 200mm fans, they were too noisy!
I replaced the front intake fan with a super quite 140mm fan that fits perfectly through the front grill holes. I don't think I will need top exhaust fans as the temps are really good so far; CPU idles at 37c an loads at 56c (2600k).
Hello everyone!!!
Here is my new baby 650D :D
As you can see, I don't have issues with the 200mm fans; I just removed them and replaced the intake fan with a super silent 140mm (fitted perfectly in the front grill holes)
The system is silent and the temps are cool...
