I've only seen the HP Zr30w online, the Microcenter and Frys in the Dallas area didn't have it.

I'd def. give it a shot. Bring a laptop that can support the resolution, if possible. And try test screens to look for dead pixels? Anyone know the best/fastest way to test for dead pixels? I think I remember reading somewhere that creating an all blue/red/yellow/green/Black/White etc...

Really? (On the input lag) That's good to know... man... I keep pinging around all over the place trying to find a new 30". I found some 30" Zr30ws on ebay for $500 but they state they don't check for dead pixels... that's my biggest worry atm.
