    Mine hums, but only when brightness is near 0%. At 100% it's silent. The serial number begins with 771. I should receive the replacement this week. I hope all the problems my unit have won't be present in that one...

    My 2690 arrived yesterday. It has some problems, backlight bleeding, scratches on the panel surface and one dead pixel. I also noticed that at extreme angles, black has a reddish tint (see attached photo). Can anyone tell me if this is a problem of h-ips technology or just an issue of my unit?

    I know for sure that also Eizo here in Italy on high end models (S2110W,S2410W, CE and cg series,...) offers a zero dead pixel warranty.
