Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
So I should be fine if i just do a reinstall with Home Premium, would It ask me If i would like to keep my programs and setting as if I was doing an upgrade?
Well my 120 days without a key are about to expire so I want to know what are my choices for getting a legitimate copy of windows. Can I just buy a OEM dvd and use the key from that to activate windows? Do I have to buy Ultamite or can i somehow downgrade to Home Premium while keeping all of my...
I have been running The Windows 7 Ultimate RTM for a good 3 months now without an activation key which means I can use it for one more month. What are my options here to get a legitimate copy of Win 7? Home premium would be enough for me, but I don't know if the oem disc would work in my case...
microcenter isn't too far away from nyc. It's a 1-2 hour trip but the traffic can make it hell. The LIRR also runs near by so you can save ~$50 on the i7 920 if you make the trip. Nothing else there is really worth it.
I'm about to order some computer parts and I could save a couple dollars over newegg.com by ordering on amazon instead. I want to know how easy is it to exchange defective parts with them. Any experiences or should I stick with the egg?
Well thanks guys I guess I'll tweak it around a little for personal preferences and maybe some things will change in a week or so. Plus are there any benefits to the newer revisions of the P6T.
I appreciate the help but It would be nice if we could shift some of the focus on the computer itself too. I'm nit going to put a 30 inch monitor on my desk because I don't want to turn my head every time i need to see to the left and right.
I'm not set on anything that's why I'm here for help. Would every agree on getting an ips moniter for my budget or should settle for a tf monitor and focus more on the computer?
