    Sorry to bump an old thread but this is driving me nuts. Any idea how to get this working when using nvidia surround? When all the monitors are separate your fix works beautifully, but once nvidia surround is enabled, it reverts the setting I set on that monitor.

    I think it might just be a glitch.. I installed the Asus AI Suite II and all the fan speeds seem to be showing up correctly in there. Temps have been fine so I guess everything is working correctly.
