Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
33mhz for PCI and 100mhz for PCI-E... You want these to stay at their default values if you can. This way you provide maximum stability and are able to achieve the best overclock.
I know that in my experience flashing the Bios is simple and safe. I've updated tons of boards and have had 0 problems. I always flash mine from the bios or from dos ( depending on the board ) and if you do it right you shouldn't have a problem.
+1 to this. I have the same processor except I bought this motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130237&Tpk=msi%20785gtm-e45
It works very well and has been 100% stable. This board also took my x2 240 to 3.71ghz stable with stock volts. I use 3.5ghz for daily...
Sorry about not replying in such a long time. I have been busy with a lot of things and on top of that have been screwing with windows 7. The logo looks great, it's simple and gets the job done. I don't have a paypal account set up yet but if you'd like you could send me your paypal account name...
I'm looking to upgrade this computer so it'll be able to run some decent games. The last time I gamed on a computer was with a 6600gt and 2.4ghz p4. I would like to be able to play most games with max or close to max settings. I was looking into getting a 4870 graphics card and a new ( new to me...
That's what I was afraid of. I was trying to avoid changing my motherboard ( limited cash ) nut if I can't drop an AM2+ processor in this then it's pretty much useless to upgrade it right?
I have the Biostar NF61S socket AM2 motherboard. I was looking into upgrading the processor to something more recent but find the processor support list quite limiting. I have the Sempron 3400+ right now which isn't even on the support list and it run perfect. I would like to know if anyone has...
In my personal experience I have had nothing but good things come from both MSI video cards and motherboard. I've had a few of both and none have failed me. I wouldn't hesitate to put another in my system
Hi, my name is Jordan Hendricks and I've been trying to get my business up and running. The only problem is no one has heard of it! The name I came up with is Advanced Computer Systems (ACS for short) which I think sounds pretty good. I started creating some business cards today and the only...
I have now been using Cometbird for over 27hrs and seem to be liking it. It is stable and all the features I have tested seem to be working. It does open faster which is also a pretty nice bonus.
I just started using it a little while ago and so far I think it's good. It seems to be based off the same engine as firefox. I have noticed that it starts up quicker and has less interface clutter. I'm going to continue using it for a while and keep you posted on what I think.
My favorite 360 games so far are Gears of War 2, Fable 2, and Resident Evil 5. I'm not a resident evil fan and haven't played any of the other ones ( aside from a few mins here and there) but I loved Resident Evil 5. The co-op ability on all of these games is also very fun too. I play them all...
