I think I've found the sweet spot.
Running CPU Voltage using offset at -0.165v and iGPU using offset at -0.010v. I had to set BLCK to 95 (default 100) to get it stable.
Been running Prime95 for about 2 hours now at full load and max temp is 76C - not bad for a 3770K in a m350 case right...
Thanks xyexz - I've reduced the CPU Voltage (Using offset to -0.150v) and now getting these temps at load :
I'm happy now but will continue playing around with it. Unfortunately I cannot disable the iGPU as I'm using the m350 case which does not allow me to install a discreet graphics...
Thanks guys, I'm new to this so what settings would I change in the BIOS? and could I damage any components if I undervolt?
I see in the BIOS it has options for :
DRAM Voltage (currently set to 1.500V)
VTT Voltage (currently set to 1.053V)
VCCSA Voltage (currently set to 0.928V)
Will be doing...
Yeah I know... but that's at full load and this machine will not be doing any heavy processing like that. I get your point though and am already busy underclocking this puppy. What would be an acceptable temp at full load for 10 mins?
Ok so I've received all the parts and put it together - CPU temps are not that good but I wasn't expecting it to be but here goes -
IDLE :
LOAD (5 mins) :
LOAD (10 mins) :
Will post pics of the build later today. I know the temps aren't great but I'm really impressed due to the size of this...
Thanks ellroy80.
I was considering the Kozuti but I'm going to see how far I get with the stock cooler. I know there won't be space to use the bracket for a HDD but I was thinking about just using double sided tape and sticking it on the cover inside.
That Dynatron is interesting - do you know...
Hi,
I'm almost done building my PC (Hackintosh) using the m350 case, just waiting on the CPU to arrive. I would like to know if anyone has the m350 case and an i7 3770k processor? If so, please can you share your experience with regards to heat and cooling options? Any other advice would be...
IsLNdbOi : sorry just saw your post now and you beat me to the news :p anyways I started a new thread to discuss the new board!!
Edit : Can one of the mods please delete the thread I started... would be better to keep everything in this thread me thinks
Thanks timme! :)
are you running it with or without the fan? and what temps are you getting?
Wonder when they'll be releasing the new board... I'll just have to buy both :D and then stick the old one in a M350 and use the new one in my skeleton.
If anyone is interested - here's a review on the Antec Mini Skeleton with Zotac 9300 wifi motherboard :-

In the review, an Akasa AK-956SF heatsink was used and the fan didnt fit so the testing...
Ah thanks, I think this is the cooler for me - few mm higher then the big shuriken so it will be closer to the fan at the top of the case and its also 20mm shorter width.
