Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I did update the firmware actually. I really don't like all the extra "smart" features Samsung adds to the displays either.

I think at least part of the issue...
My samsung came damaged so take these tests with a grain of salt. I was able to get the display up and going despite the smashed 1/3 of the screen but I have no idea if that has an effect on input latency:

Got mine yesterday. I haven't noticed any of the issues that have been discussed here so far. The response time is great and far better than the Samsung JU6700 Series 48” I had.
Colors are great, blacks are much darker than my other monitors. I did notice a...
I'm with you on that. I thought the whole point of this forum was to dive deeply into products from a enthusiast/performance perspective and get every nasty little technical detail and shortcoming figured out, push them to their limits to be sure of what we can expect from them and enjoy it...
I just noticed somethin here:

"Maximum resolution: 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz (with DP: Philips Driver Installation Required)"
Is there some specific Philips drivers that need to be installed before...
bummer man. the box on yours looked fine as well I take it? I think more than anything this is Samsung's fault for not packing the curved tvs well enough or designing them to be sturdy enough.
mine is boxed up and ready to be sent back today. going to drop it by the UPS store on my way...
I'm returning it because it's smashed. I was doing g a few tests to see if I want another one or not.
I also tried loading up a few games to see how it felt. I did notice some display lag. Not an issue for single player games but I'm betting a quake 3 pro would find it unplayable.
The input lag is very noticeable in PC mode on this (damaged) display. If I place it next to my Asus with 18ms total display latency, span a small window across both and move it up and down really fast you can clearly see the samsu g lagging behind.
Yes I did update. Renamed the input to PC...
PC mode: monitor on the left has 18ms lag. so adding the difference in the images yields 51ms lag.
This one is with game mode on. Pretty much can't tell the difference. and I can't seem to get another image as clear as the last one lol.
