Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Great customer service and quality products! My 8GB Flash Voyager USB drive unintentionally came with me into Lake Erie, and after letting it dry overnight it still worked like brand new!
I'm still anxiously awaiting a driver fix. I've tried the latest XP 158.22 drivers, the 96.89s, the monitor turned off trick, and the custom timings. No luck at all with my eVGA 8800GTS and Viewsonic vx2025wm.
Just got the 8800GTS two days ago, replaced a 7800GT OC. I'm very impressed by...
Here's a cool review site:

Also, just wondering... is there any legal or moral issues with downloading video game music through P2P? I'd imaging that game soundtracks are NOT RIAA protected, and any income these soundtracks generate for the game developer would...
This monitor will NOT do scaling, BUT with your Nvidia card you can activate "fixed aspect ratio" scaling or "centered" scaling in the nVidia control panel.
Keep this in mind, although this might have only been for my monitor... when I activated the scaling, the monitor would say "Out of...
Could be the video card they are running on? Especially if it is onboard.
I have two computers at home, one for games with 2X 7800GTs, and one for just websurfing and word processing for my wife, which has an old TNT2 card. Heck, the TNT2 is probably WORSE than today's onboard. There is a...
19" WS just "appears" larger than 17" 5:4 because it is wider.
To the OP, I guess it just comes down to personal preference 5:4 vs 16:10, but I still would advise against the switch if you have to pay a significant amount of money to do so. If you are going to spend, spend just a little more...
Just throwing it out there for consideration. He didn't say if he played modern games. I played two games just this week that don't do widescreen, and have no hack at the widescreengamingforums either.
Let's put it this way... if he can do an even trade, then it may be worth it just to move...
I would say no. The 19" widescreen will actually feel SMALLER. Your 17" is 1280x1024 for a total of 1,310,720 pixels. The 19" widescreen at 1440x900 nets you 1,296,000 pixels. It's actually LESS desktop area.
Plus, consider this scenario. You are used to gaming at 1280x1024. Lets say...
True. I was thinking Norton Ghost to an external drive. Just forgot to type the "external" part.
I don't use a program to backup my stuff, but I just copy the files that I know will change a lot to an external that I take with me to work. The files that I know are not going to change, i...
