Nice to know I'm not getting crazy or anything. ;)
I'm thinking I might just stick with dvi.
Those washed blacks I was telling about. You gotta see it, if you have not already. Looked like a grey layer on top of black things. Kinda milky in a way.
Now its gone, I'm quite happy with this...
Thnx for the heads up.
But I'm using HD4000 on my i7 3770K (hdmi).
Strange thing is. I just changed to DVI and if I'm not just imaging it all in my head the blacks looks way better now...
Strange... :)
Recieved my S2740L a few days ago.
Though Im pretty pleased with the picture (vibrant colors, great for reading text, pictures taken with my camera looks stunning etc) I'm quite disapointed with the black levels. Even after a basic calibration they look totally washed out. Looks awful. Wonder...
Thank you for the answer. It seems those psu brackets/adaptors are impossible to buy where I live. =( I could order from ebay but then it takes a few weeks..
Is there any way mouting a sfx psu in this case without using a bracket/adaptor?
Just ordered the S2740L. It's going to be here tomorrow.
An early Christmas present. ;)
I´ve just sold a Shimian Achieva Lite. It was a good screen, but I really missed the pop in the picture. Hopfully this one will bring that with the glass in front.
By the weekend I will know for sure. ;)
Would it be possible to use a sfx psu in this one?
I have a Silverstone Sugo SG05 today and would like to reuse the psu and fans. ;)
Btw. How hot does this baby get?
I read some reviews stating that they got cpu-temps up to 90C.
See I'm debating on getting this one or a Shuttle. (reason - I...
I'm thinking about getting the i7 3770k or the i7 2700k for my build.
Sold my 2700k to a friend of mine yesterday. Was extremely happy with it. Ran it with the stock cooler in Sg08 @ about 30 degrees celcius.
I was running the integrated gpu (HD3000) so the HD4000 might be a minor upgrade...
Unless they used the package for transporting drugs or something. ;)
On which of the models can the tempered glass be removed (for cleaning) and reassembled?
The Shimian tempered glass can be removed (heatgun+credit card) but don't know if it can be put back on easily? Someone said that the...
Thanks for the quick review. I'm planning on buying this one in a few days. Been wondering if I should go with this VA-model or the IPS-one.
Btw. I thought that ML249H and ML239H had glossy screens?
I have a HP 2310i today and kinda like the glossy screen. The reflections don't bother me...
Anyone else on the 72% gamut thing? Will that leave visible banding on for instance a black/blue background? (which goes from black to blue)
I put it this way. This forum is filled with guys (and girls) who has opinions and different taste and view on things. If any of YOU were to buy a new...
To be honest. I don't really care about 16:9 or 16:10. But I do prefer the 16:10 since for instance a 22 inch 16:10 monitor seems bigger (and better) than a 23 inch 16:9. At least in terms of height.
16:9 is nice when watching movies or like you said for console gaming. ;) If I were to get a...
