    case building help

I built an complete acrylic case from scratch and it took a year (counting the couple month delays in between working on it). I used a laser cutter to cut all the parts...something I recommend if you can. Depending on what tools you have available, cutting all the pieces to perfect right angles...

Do I have enough sleeving for a PSU and a case?

I bought a sleeving kit and did my PSU and it was a pain in the ass. A kit to sleeve your PSU comes with the following: 10' of 1/4" sleeving for power connectors -5' of 1/2" sleeving for ATX connector -3' of 1/2" heatshrink for power connectors -1' of 1" heatshrink for ATX connector So...

Unfortunately the judges at newegg didn't like it as much: http://images10.newegg.com/UploadFilesForNewegg/Promo/casemod/archive.htm (this is where Qtip saw my mod and emailed me because I got the idea from him)

As you wish... I have a pic of the bottom back during construction and that is it. Dont know why I dont have more - I think just because its just cords coming out. I'll try to snap a picture tonight. As for the front, here is a pic that shows the front and top and you can see my modified...

Sure. The first one shows the whole internal of the case. I have done some re-arranging of the wires since I took this pic to conceal them better behind the PSU. The second one shows the LAN and USB cables that come through a hole in the back of the case to access the ports that had to be placed...

This is a good place for UK modding stuff: http://www.overclock.co.uk/customer/home.php However, I am not from the UK so I dont know if they mod for you or just sell parts. Check them out and see if you can find anything you like.

Cleaning computer using a portable car air compressor. Bad or good idea?

Personally I wouldn't risk it. It would be worth your investment to buy a $5 can of computer spray. If all else fails stick your head it, shut your eyes, and blow. :p

    Your take on this case

I love the sleek design. I use to not be a fan of the covered drive bays in the front but it has been growing on me and I am thinking about getting a case like that.

No I did not just sleeve the cables. I put two windows in it along with a blue LED fan (I replaced the stock fan). It was a while ago so I am going to try to dig up some pics. I plan on doing another PSU mod but it wont be for a while. Thanks for the welcome guys!

Hey everyone, I was referred to this site by Alex from computer-choppers.com. Thought I would stop by, say hi and show some of my mods. First off a little bit about me: I have been into computers as a hobby for about 6 years and I have been modding them for about 4 years now. I am a staff member...
