Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I would say 2412 is much better for gaming because it has avg 10ms input lag compared to 60ms on 2407. Plus that some 2407 units had vrery noticable ghosting.
small update...I noticed a small issue.....right part of the screen (very narrow area, just within the bezel, maybe 3 mm wide; from bezel towards the screen center) from top to bottom of the screen has a barely noticable backlight bleed (if it is backlight bleed I dunno, but on that part the...
Received my Dell. I was lucky (as with 2209WA) because its rev. A01 with very good screen uniformity and minimal baclight bleeding. My "calibrated" settings are:
Red:96, Green: 93, Blue 84; Brightness 23 (Im working and gaming at night in very dark room); Contrast is at 75 (default)....thers no...
Yep. I found the topic about it. But whats the point with having 75Hz. The games I play are realistic combat sims (very HW demanding) and rarely my FPS reach more than 60...and since I have TrackIR I need to use Vsync.....
some of the folks reported slight (but noticable) flickering when using low brigtness values in dim room...that is on A00 revisions...anybody noticed something similar?
I have bightness (on my 2209wa) on 10 now and I like it that way since its usually at night that im in front of the screen and its pretty dark in the living room (only weak ambient light). So I guess it should be ok.
I have 2209wa....do you think it has a same pic quality as 2209wa? Im asking this to be sure I will not make a wrong decision. U2412M is 6+2 bit panel while 2209wa is true 8 bit. That alone shouldnt be a problem but I want to be sure. Btw, is your revision A00?
