    Where is the [H] HD4870 X2 review!

Kind of a poor substitute, but still better than most reviews out there... http://www.cluboverclocker.com/reviews/video/sapphire/hd4870x2_2GB/page1.asp

Here is why I have to upgrade to a 4870x2 (as opposed to GTX280)

Is it possible: 30 inch in portrait?

I'm pretty sure it's possible - the monitors themselves might not have built in portrait mode support, but you can generally use software to give the monitor a 'sideways' image. I assume you have a stand/arm capable of holding the monitors in portrait mode?

If you're using it as your PC monitor too, go for 1080p. 720p is far too few pixels to use as a monitor - it's less than even the smallest pc monitors today have. You'll go crazy trying to fit all your windows into 720p.

    Doublesight DS-305W

Oh, I wouldn't say it's better (or equal) to any of those monitors - its only noteworthy quality is being slightly cheaper for someone on a budget. P.S. what do you think would prevent anydvd from continuing to play DVD's?

    Doublesight DS-305W

If it's not HDCP compliant, it means that it can't play content encrypted by HDCP. That means Blu-Ray movies, and not much else. You can even get around Blu-Ray's HDCP by using Any-DVD HD. This does mean that you would only be able to play Blu-Ray movies from a computer, and not any other...
