Why does my 40" Sony Bravia look like utter crap?

Our (Elite) Pioneer Kuro is amazing in HD, crappy just like any other Plasma/LCD HD TV is on SD content. It blew the 1080p Samsung out of the water (it's only 720p).

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

I've had mine for about a month now... I'm pretty happy with it so far. I'm still trying to adjust it to look the best. There is a huge difference in colors between my Macbook Pros built in display (crappy TN panel) and the wide gamut HP. I do, however, have some seemingly software related...

Apple 24" LED-backlit IPS Cinema Display with DisplayPort ($899)?

24" White Plastic iMac vs. 24" Aluminum iMac.

Apple LED Cinema Display is H-IPS (LG LM240WU6)

Apple's pricing is NOT bad for an LED backlit monitor.

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

No banding, just way over saturated colors and the ICCs already provided for the monitor (such as ecats) make everything even warmer than default, or too dark. Supposedly Snow Leopard (10.6) is switching over to the 2.2 gamma as well. Would you guys send the monitor in for the pinkish hue on...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

Has anyone made a calibration profile who is using this display on a Mac? The ones I've downloaded make the display look like crap, to say the least. The display profile that OS X is giving me looks okay, but the over saturation kills me when watching movies (people look sunburnt). Thanks!

Apple 24" LED-backlit IPS Cinema Display with DisplayPort ($899)?

Of course it's not - the 24" iMac is not LED backlit.

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

I just got mine today, it's really not as bad looking (as far as the stand/physical looks go) as it looks in the pictures. It's a LOT larger than my old Samsung 215TW and the picture seems to be warmer. For some reason, on my monitor, I found the calibrated settings some have posted to be too...

Apple 24" LED-backlit IPS Cinema Display with DisplayPort ($899)?

LED backlit 24" IPS display for $899? That's why.

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

The same seller who had them at $500 now has them listed for $575. I snatched one up, used the Live Cashback, and 10% Paypal coupon - Grand total of around $370! Not bad, not bad at all! I can't wait to get it.

    24 glossy non TN!

No, the 24" iMac uses a nice H-IPS LG.Philips panel. The 20" iMac uses a TN panel though. The new LED cinema does NOT require an adaptor for the new Macbook line up (including the new Pro/revamped Air).

Apple 24" LED-backlit IPS Cinema Display with DisplayPort ($899)?

I wish I could hook up the new LED Cinema Display to my "old" Macbook Pro with DVI. Apple would have another $900 this second if they didn't make this absurd decision to include only a Mini DisplayPort connection on the display.

Link? I don't see anything that cheap on eBay.

    Dell 2408WFP vs. HP LP2475W

You guys have got my convinced on the HP. If only the Apple LED Cinema Display weren't only freakin DisplayPort only... Thanks guys!

    LCD Screen Patch

I've always found water to work perfectly fine on a microfiber towel. Clean it with the damp towel and then follow with another dry towel.
