    I also tried that. Bios from November 08. The card ran fine until the flash then it wont boot past the mediashield. I don't think the mediashield is the problem, but another symptom. This is so much trouble i will never flash a card again lol. Thanks for some ideas though.

    Thanks for the reply I did try that on both pci and pcie setting with no luck. It is strange the card works and gets thru post but stops at that step. It would be more understandable if it didn't work at all.

    Would hot flashing be an option (Plugging the card in after i get past that mediashield screen)? Would it be detected as an option to flash if it is not plugged in at boot? EDIT: I am lost as to why it hangs at that screen. I let it sit there for about 30 minutes and its not frozen...
