notarat That Dayton amp doesn't have a lowpass filter. It seems like subwoofer output is rare on these amps to begin with, and low pass filters even more so. I guess I could technically buy a minidsp later, but that's even more money on top of a sub.
I saw this Dayton amp...
If using bookshelfs are fine, I might splurge on my budget and get a KEF Q150 pair. They are on sale right now for $300. If I do that I can buy a subwoofer anytime later.
Is it alright to get standard bookshelf speakers to use in a PC setup instead of near fields?
Is there any other alternative dac/amp you'd recommend instead for this setup. I'm not sure I want to go back to being worried about making sure I turn off the tube amp for fear of lowering the life...
Hello,
I recently had my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 pc speakers destroyed by a chipmunk my cat brought into the house. I'm looking to replace them and my budget is around $150 to $250.
I was actually thinking about possibly getting the Creative Labs Sound BlasterX Katana soundbar. It's price right...
So disappointing to hear this doesn't work on IPS panels :(
I wanted to do this to my Dell U3415W.
I developed a wavy pattern on my moniter that I was hoping I could get rid of when taking the AG coating off.
Yeah I've had a laptop and stuff. I can control light and reflections can be controlled on my end.
Aa shit they dont' have integer scaling yet? Shit
They are slow? Input lag or the pixels themselves shifting? Never heard of problems with the latter. I'm not usually playing anything...
So I've been on the Ultrawide life with a U3415W Dell Ultra Wide but I just love the look of glossy displays like Apple Displays and most high end TV's. I don't know if it would be crazy to forsake gsync and high hz, which I haven't tried yet or to not wait for HDR monitors to come out and...
Well this fricking sucks. Have had the monitor for a week and all of a sudden today it starts displaying a red/magenta line right through the middle vertically half way through the screen. It appears even without an input, so it is something wrong with the monitor itself.
I guess I'll have to...
It wouldn't have come from the factory when it was first made, but is there a possibility this was missed or neglected when refurbishing the unit someone previously?
Was able to rush home from work to bring it in, set it up, and play with it for just a few minutes.
It's sooooo wide. It's weird. The curve is super subtle that at times it doesn't look like a curve. Are the other LG and Samsung panels curvier?
Haven't really gotten a chance to check the...
I saw one available on Craigslist. It still costs a bit and I'll have to drive a good bit to pick it up, and I'm sure it wasn't bought recently, even though the seller says they still have a receipt.
I've become kind of bored with my 2713HM. I was going to order that monoprice one on sale...
I already did that.
.
There isn't any room in the case lol. There's only 4 trays. I don't know how I would be able to expand it beyond getting a new case, but I know a lot of this dell shit is proprietary so I don't know how well that would work. The other thing that sucks about this thing...
