Hi there,
It was originally to be a xmas present but I ended up going for the console route.
I'm asking for $489.99 shipped for both items, they retail at 550, so nice saves for someone looking for a new build.
ASUS Prime Z390-A LGA 1151
Intel Core i7-8700K Coffee Lake 6-Core
This is my...
I do not know if those new AMD cards named "3070" will be the new AMD high end, or just replace the old 580s/590s, but if there are releasing something along the lines of Mid-High/HighEnd they should be aiming for a perf like the 2070 to remaing competitive don't you think so?
Games are always more GPU dependant than CPU, you can reap much better benefits from spending those bucks on a video card than on a CPU, and you can always get a cheap 8gen i3 to do the work :D
AMD never had the performance crown on its favor, but remember before CORE architecture AMD was king in CPU, and now is really closing the gap. I excpect to see much improvements from the side of AMD and with the upcoming Intel dedicated cards will be another pice of the cake to fight for.
I'm using MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PRO CARBON AC with a 9700k with no problems at all, the mobo looks solid, and got nice bios and software, not much to do these days on bios tho..
What kind of use are you giving those CPUs? Anything I'm missing to justify the price? Or just overclocker enthusiast? I can't see myself buying one of those, insted I would just go for the 9900k or the Threadripper depending on task, or by the sake of overclocking just bin it myself.
Well, actually, I've had like 5 mech keyboards, have used the 3 switches (blue, red, brown) and I kept one with blue switches for my main PC. What you saying is you dont like the switch by itself, or did you find something bad about the keyboard on its own? I think the build quality is superb
