Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I mean theoritically you shouldn't have worse temps but better.
More space, two fans blowing air straight into the gpu's from the side, one fan blowing air feom bottom, assuming that you add one additional fan from the bottom, and more space overall.
So far the keyboard works fine, did a 1 hour session in BF3 and it worked like a charm.
One thing that's annoying the logo on middle bottom of keyboard is much more brighter than the actuall buttons, I want to put some tape overlay over it.
Lol, the fan at the bottom looks so weird now, like its a dwarf :)
I just might get another Corsair AF-140 Quiet Edition and change it to make it look normal :)
Here's a pic of my Obsidian and Sabertooth z77 with usb 3.0 connected, you can see it behind right top corner of gpu.
Now usb 3.0 disconnecting after few minutes every time I connect my external drive to it is a different story.
Sorry for bad picture quality.
Don't really understand what you're saying but I just my system together today, same thing Obsiaidn 550d with Sabertooth z77 and I connected usb 3.0 front panel just right.
I even connected external hdd and thumb drive to the front panel and everything work fine.
I'm sorry does Nvidia card is supposed to be installed with the teeth of the card outside the case or inside the case ?
It's hard to explain but I'm having problem pushing gpu into place, and I'm not sure which way to install it, don't want to break something.
I know, seems that Lycosa has bad reviews, however they pulled out new version, so I'm wondering if there's bigger chance you will get good keyboard.
Anansi on the other hand seems to get 90% of bad rep, whichever review I look at there's something wrong, that's sad, as this one I like the most :D
I visited few stores over the weekend and here's the ones that I liked how they typed and how they looked at the same time.
All of those I found pretty quiet in typing, of course not laptop typing but still pretty quiet.
-Razer Anansi
-Razer Lycosa
-Logitech G110
Thanks Jimmy,
My plan is as follows.....
Buy Geil Tranquillo cpu cooler and additional Corsair AF140 fan for bottom and see how loud it is.
If I do find it too loud I will change all fans for Noctua and get NH-D14 Noctua cpu cooler.
I remembered I have Fiio e9 + e7 combo for my denon headphones.
Does this change anything, can I hook ti up through fiio or just stick with mobo ?
Here's fiio specs http://www.fiio.com.cn/product/index.aspx?ID=19&MenuID=020301 http://www.fiio.com.cn/product/index.aspx?ID=28&MenuID=020301
I'm putting together new desktop and using laptops for years now I don't know squat about desktops.
Do I need dedicated sound card for those speakers ?
I'm using Asus Sabertooth z77 mobo http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131821
Here's the link to the speakers...
