Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Oh I agree. If it was my money I wouldn't buy the highest end. But in this case the computer is a present. If I bought a lower end card I'd have no hope of seeing the saved money so it wouldn't matter.
I didn't know that. Well, in this case I'll order it all from them just because I'm too lazy to sign up at another site and want to get it all done in one swift order :D
In normal condition I would but I live in a somewhat hot environment and don't have very good air conditioning. Seeing the...
My P4 2.4 Ghz and Radeon 9800 Pro are getting a bit long in the tooth. I've stopped playing games made within the last few years since I think the experience would be significantly lower compared to what I could have.

Motherboard:

Good article. Shame there isn't much competition this generation. DX10 performence also makes me a little weary since I'll be getting a 8800 GTX and Vista soon.
Typo fixed, thanks - Brent
I'm pretty sure monitors don't have service tags. I searched around for it myself and than did a search on the dell forums, where according to some, they don't. And unless someone forgot to put the sticker on the back of my monitor, it would seem to be true.
You have to call them up to get a...
That gradient has been wrecked by jpeg compression. Try this .png of the same gradient and see if you still have it.
I personally (I have the dell monitor by the way) don't see any banding. I thought I did when viewing the image with windows picture viewer or whatever it's called, but...
Got the replacement. Still dead pixels, and whadya know, another cluster. Luckily it's at the bottom right, so I don't think it'll annoy me much.
(Late edit)
Oh, and something else I forgot about before I posted. I had the flashing in the grays issue that some people talked about on my old...
After using it for awhile, I'm happy with almost everything about the monitor - except the fact that it has about 10 dead pixels.
Normally I wouldn't care because I have to look real hard to even see them, but on the upper left side of the screen, there is a cluster line of 3 dead pixels...
