No signal on V2400W
Any other BenQ V2400W owners here? I'm having a strange problem with mine: if I turn off the monitor when it's connected to the computer over DVI, it displays "No signal detected" when I turn it on again. How to run a Dell 2209WA at 75Hz

Assuming you win the panel lottery on them and get an IPS panel, the HP LP2065 and Dell 2007FP are the highest quality 4:3 panels that you can still find easily these days. Both use the same IPS panel, but if you game the 2007FP is probably slightly better due to having very low input lag... -

geminox: Have you tried forcing higher refresh rates with PowerStrip or Nvidia's custom resolutions on a normal cable, or are you already doing that? I'd still be somewhat surprised if cutting those pins off was the only way to do this. -

There are a number of smaller LCDs that can go over 60Hz without skipping frames. I was able to push an LG W2252TQ to 75Hz at native over DVI (which is quite similar to his monitor), and I'm certain it wasn't skipping frames. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the L227WTG were also capable of it... -

Whoops, that's what I get for reading the topic in the early morning. Missed your post, sorry. In all honesty though, I don't think I want a VA. Perhaps some people are more sensitive to it than others, but some of the complaints about the horizontal gamma shift on VAs that I've read here... -

HP LP2065 vs Dell 2007fp
flatpanels.dk is incorrect. The 2001FP uses the LM201U04 panel, but the 2007FP uses the same LM201U05 panel that the HP does. I've tried (and returned) the IPS versions of the LP2065 and 2007WFP, and going by my experience with the Dell I would somewhat hesitantly recommend the 2007FP over the... -

Realistically, I don't think I have any choices other than TN if I'm going to be buying an LCD any time soon. All new IPS panels are probably going to be wide gamut (and all of the current ones have too many other issues as well -- I might've at least given the DS-263N a try before it...
