Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks alot, most of the confusion was because people put out alot of information and didn't explain why it mattered.
I heard the Q9550 is a difficult chip to overclock... Hope I learn a ton!
Ok so the 1:1 ratio is ideal for better performance..
So leme get this straight...
When I have a FSB of 400, and the ram is DDR2 800MHz.. That is 1:1.
When I overclock to an FSB of 450 for example.. and the ram is now 901MHz. The ratio is still 1 to 1....
So when does this become a...
Ok so I've been reading alot of overclocking guides on the web and I keep hearing this 1:1 ram cpu ratio thing come up..
Here is the computer I'm learning overclocking on:
Intel C2Q Q9550 2.8ghz.
Corsair DDR2 800ghz Ram
other stuff
Now what confuses me is the ram frequency and FSB frequency...
Yeah I found a dew point calculator on the web, very very useful.
I'm trying to see if there are other ways to combat water condensation. This is surely a challenge. :D
It isn't really reasonable to use AC and refrigerators as examples.
An AC has to cool an entire house or room, and a fridge/freezer same thing.
All we are trying to do is cool a little bit of water.
