2405 mouse cursor lag
Hmm, I wonder if the RF transmissions are getting flooded due to the high resolution distances being transmitted when you move the mouse on a high res panel like the 2405. I don't know whether you can re-position the receiver but it could be worth trying to rule out electro-magnetic... -

LG Electronics a good brand?
Those Mitsi's with Diamondtrons that I have seen have been poor in comparison with iiyamas. The UK press reviews of (Diamondtron) monitors from the same two manufacturers suggest a similar view. Those same reviews have given LGs "value" awards, so they must be fairly decent - the iiyamas usually... -

Right, I''ve run with Jensen's updated program - much easier, thanks Jensen. It shows a lag of between 1.5 and 2.0 - I ran the program both as a link and the SWF saved then dropped into a browser. The timings on my 2 1800s were identical even down to point of them both starting to change... -

Hi MicroUK, I'm running my 2405 with a pair of 1800FP's (all through DVI off Nvidia cards) and find the colour just fine. I can only really advise you to make sure you've got the 2405 colour profile loaded into your graphics driver. Also you might need to keep the brightness fairly low... -

Not Running in Native Resolution, damage to monitor
There is a minor risk is if you are driving it outside its specification (usually too high a resolution and or refresh rate). The electronics in LCD panels seem much better able to handle out of spec signals and blank out rather than show a funny picture - I haven't tried a CRT recently and... -

1920x1080+ Widescreen LCDs?
I understand that Dell's (my) 2405 does actually do 1920x1080 when the input is such, leaving a small 60 pixel margin at both top and bottom. That it goes up to 1200 vertically is probably some PC thing making implementation easier for that particular application. I might expect one of the... -

Just a thought. Have you got the USB cable from the monitor to the PC, enabling the media card readers? Try unplugging that if its plugged in. Try your intellimouse explorer in your PS/2 port (if you have one). I have one of them in a PS/2 port and cannot see any lag, though I don't do any... -
