Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
ATCS all the way, own one myself. However, it's a lot bigger than you think, ALOT. Own a HAF also, great case only drawback that i found was the fugly side panel. I perfer the HAF to the ACTS but the fugly side panel made me stick to the ACTS.
Wish i had the case out to take pics of the ACTS for you but lets see what i can do for you.
Your statement:
"Also with the Coolermaster Sniper just around the corner, do you think I should wait? Or is the Sniper just a cheap mockoff to attract newbie 'Gamers'?" IS DEAD ON. junk case IMHO...
Own the acts and am currently building a HAF for a buddy of mine, would of gotten the HAF myself but the side panel was ugly.
To the person who said 4 x 80mm it's actually a single 230mm it comes with with the ability to use 4x120mm fans.
Get yourself some Dryer sheets and use them as...
How does this chip compare to the last line of AM2, say for example the 6000+ x2 which has a higher clock speed (3.1gig)? or even the 6400+ x2 (don't know the frequency offhand)? I mean yeah the FSB is a jump from 800 to 1066 but can't that be made up for in the operating frequency? Would love...
The problem with the screw extractors taht everyone keeps mentioning is that a screw extractor works if the HEAD of the screw is stripped not if the screw itself is stripped. In this case it sounds as if the screw is stripped. Oh can you access the other side of the screw? if so just push...
well being a machinist i have a few ideas. but b4 that a few questions:
#1 is the head of the screw square or round?
If it's square grab a pair of vicegrips, lock them on the head and turn and pull at the same time, you want just enough to put a knife underneath it to be able to use the...
soulesschild, fantastic job.
Can you take more pics of the rad mounting? clearance on sides, front, and back? interested to see how much room is left on that bracket. the Swiftech radiator seems to be thinner than most, and their fan spacing is odd compared to others, wondering if that made a...
I've had both, the cordless is nice but you better pick up 2 other batteries for it, it dies after 30 to 50 min. I got a corded one because i kept getting aggravated with dying batteries.
Plexi was cut on a table saw, but i'm a machinst so that wasn't good enough. I took it to work, mounted it on a bridgeport and, using an end mill, edged the whole thing square, peices by peices. Made the mounting holes that way too, just can't beleive i forgot to make the fan holes.
ok here's the picture of it. Two flaws, the backplate that holds the fans is a little tall (i can sand that down) and after having the sides and the bottom glued together with the front i realized i had forgotten to drill the fan holes.... now i got to let it cure b4 i can put fan holes in...
