Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
My top two are "read" and "think". Think annoying. No, don't tell me how to think, that's annoying (read - really annoying). Maybe these people could just learn to use the !#$!@#$ backspace key.
Part of the problem is perception. The original [H] post by Steve is a good example of the idiocy, plus most of the posts on the first page. Childish people thinking they are being clever by bashing an easy target.

"We have been longstanding supporters of mail in rebates (MIR)". Really, we hadn't noticed that you promote NVidia products based on mail-in rebate prices from one particular online company and also base your bang for buck recommendations off of those dubious and ever changing prices.
I found with my 4850 that AA set in game (HL2 in my case) felt like it dropped the frame rate so the game was not as smooth. But if I turned off "Use application settings" in the control panel and manually set it to 8x Edge detect then I got great AA with no performance hit.
When you tried AA...
Feels that way to me. The ATI cards seem to get a "finally a good card" reluctant endorsement from [H] while any sign of life from NVidia gets the "red carpet lets roll out another review" treatment. Some of the negative bias seen lately comes from the general public who base their opinions on...
