    Waterblock Question...

The ones I have are white/translucent.. not clear like you may be thinking. But when on a silver barb they are nice looking.

    Waterblock Question...

I will agree with you that the compression fittings are really nice looking. They do have clearance issues though when used on some components (D-Tek Fuzion for example) so the next best IMO is 7/16 tubing on 1/2 barbs. Very tight fit. I actually ran my loop like that for about 10 months...

    Waterblock Question...

Just throw on some zip ties after you put your tubing on the barbs.

    Overheating without OC

Use the stock thermal pads. TIM is too risky around vrm's and if your board bows at all (which it probably will just a little when you mount your CPU cooler,) the heatsink will loose contact with the VRM.

    Overheating without OC

The northbridge and voltage vrm sinks are actually separate pieces. The silver finned array is connected to the northbridge via heatpipe but it is only sitting above the VRM heatsink. They are not connected. On the southbridge, I take a bic pen and take it apart. Use the end of the bottom...

    low decibel/high CFM fans

Yates from Petras are your best bang for the buck. They are under 30db. Second choice would be Scythe S Flex or Noctua.

Best way to put AS5 on chipset?

Personally I would stick with ceramique. you MAY see 1c difference going to as5 over ceramique. Best way to apply though would be a small blob in the center. I would put a blob, mount and then remove and check your coverage, clean and adjust the blob size for more/less coverage and remount.

Post Your 8800GTS G92 Overclock Speeds

Yeah, and I really want to volt mod this thing but I just can't afford to screw it up. It's on water and when loaded only hits 41c. The memory OC made a huge difference though.

    8800 Series Stock WC

I'm not sure how much heat the ram and vrm's create. I'm running a set of these to cool my ram and vrm. I understand that chilledpc will be getting some soon and Petras should have them back in stock early next week. I have no temp issues with these on and have very little airflow over them.
